Renewing expired free SSL certificate

**Additional information:**My question is related to renewing an expired free SSL certificate.

My free SSL certificate will expire on 2-22-2020, is there any way to renew the existing certificate, or do I need to request a new one. I used the search function and found this thread, https://forum.infinityfree.com/t/how-to-renew-ssl-certificate/22455 it directs the user to this page https://www.sslforfree.com/ That appears to be requesting a new certificate and installing it instead of renewing an existing certificate, is there a way to renew it, or is requesting and installing a new one the only way to continue SSL on your site?

Nevermind, problem resolved, clicked on the ‘View my SSL Certificates’ button on the expiration reminder email. This took me to https://app.infinityfree.net/acmeDomains/1995, scrolled down, clicked on +Request SSL Certificate, that generated the Private Key and an SSL Certificate. Then opened cPanel, clicked SSL/TLS and went through the motions to generate the CSR, upload the private key and the certificate. Verified with https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.
