Remove domain from an account

I need to remove my own domain from one Infinity Free account, to be able to use it in another. Well, this presents an error that has not yet been corrected.
How can I do it?

Are you getting an error? If yes please show a screenshot or copy and paste it. If not you can go in the cPanel and delete it from there.

I’m sorry but I cannot do anything about this issue, they are working on fixing this and I cannot say when it will be fixed because I don’t know. You would just have to wait until this issue is fixed.

You can delete the account itself in the client area.

Go to https://app.infinityfree.net then go to “Edit Account” and at the bottom there should be a button saying “Deactivate Account”

So your saying that you cannot remove the domain from your account in the control panel? I cannot remember if there is a way to remove it in the client area or not. You may have to wait for the outage to be fixed.

Now, I make a question: If I delete the account where my domain is hosted, will I be able to use that same domain in a new account?

If you delete it from the account, it is now available to be used on another iFastNet account. (So most free hosts). It is recommended to remove your domain from your account before you move it to a different account or host.
