Other Information

Hi,

I’m having trouble getting my website to use https://ingenieromuerto.es, as it returns the following error:
404 Not Found
Please forward this error screen to ingenieromuerto.es’s WebMaster.
The server cannot find the requested page: ingenieromuerto.es/cp_errordocument.shtml (port 443)

However, https://www.ingenieromuerto.es does work, and it’s the one that has the valid SSL certificate.
Still, I don’t understand why I can’t redirect to this version, not even via .htaccess.

Also, all the old links indexed by Google point to https://ingenieromuerto.es, and I’d like them to properly redirect to the working version.

So far, I’ve changed the URLs in the database (otherwise the site wouldn’t load at all), and I’ve edited the .htaccess file… Do you have any other suggestions?

I don’t see a 404 error, it works to me.

Also, not sure what you mean by redirecting google links to the “working version”, you site works both with and without the www subdomain (I would recommend choosing either one or the other with .htaccess)

I’ve tested it in several browsers and none of the URLs with the structure https://ingenieromuerto.es/ seem to work. I tried to set up a redirect to https://www.ingenieromuerto.es/ via .htaccess, but it doesn’t seem to work either…

The first two links you shared both work for me - my guess is this is a browser cache issue see:

Your www redirect and homepage works just fine as well

Okay, I’ve confirmed that accessing the site from my mobile using data works fine. I’ve tried clearing cache and cookies in Firefox, but it still doesn’t work there. Anyway, I just wanted to check if the problem wasn’t on the website’s end.

Did you only move the website to our hosting recently? If so, the issue you’re experiencing is most likely just DNS cache. That’s normal behavior, and it will fix itself automatically within a few days at most.

It could be because I’m viewing the posts and the images aren’t loading on my PC, but they do load on my mobile when using mobile data.

Sorry, I actually meant to say this…
