Other Information

Hello,

I’m having a recurring issue with my website hosted on InfinityFree. Google has flagged it for phishing, but I haven’t made any recent changes to my HTML files.

I scanned my site with VirusTotal, which also shows a phishing alert, but I can’t find any suspicious files or changes. Could someone please help me investigate this issue? Are there any server-side activities or hidden files I should be aware of?

I had the same issue last week. I requested a review from Google, explaining that it must be a mistake, and they actually removed the ‘red flag.’ But now it’s happening again…

I would appreciate any help to resolve this.

Thank you.

Check the pages that got flagged in search console.

Thank you very much for your response!

In Google Search Console, they mention a ‘detailed report,’ but the only thing written there is this :

“1 issue detected
We have detected harmful content on some pages of your site. We recommend removing this content as soon as possible. Until then, browsers like Google Chrome will display a warning when users visit your site or download files from it.”

I also checked the two pages that Google flagged as suspicious, but there’s nothing in the code that has been changed. ChatGPT also doesn’t see anything problematic in the code.

It could be the language that is used, libraries that are used, etc. What’s different about the pages that are flagged vs the pages that are ok? Are these page login page? Do they ask for user information? Are they identified clearly enough with a unique brand if they are?

It’s a very small HTML/JS/PHP site that I recently created as a beginner. I didn’t use any libraries.
The pages that are flagged are: the login page and the index.php page.

Google probably things you are running a phishing scam. Make sure your login page is clearly branded from your site and does not resemble the login page of other sites. The index page probably got flagged because it links to it, or because it also allows users to login.

Thank you very much for your help! Do you mean that I should change the design of the login page to include, for example, my logo and a bit more style? Because I must admit that the login page is quite plain and was created by ChatGPT
