Hello. I asked this question some days ago but I did not understand totally.
I had a free domain and some wordpress structures installed. Now a message states ’ not found’ . An answer to my previous question said about going to my dashboard and activate again. The second one said that I should try to assign the domain to an account again. My account seems not to be suspended, as I am posting on the forum. Is there any way to check if the domain and its minimal estructural contents have been deleted, or if they can be activated again? Thanks
If you can log into your client area account, then you can click “Hosting Accounts” at the top of the page.
On this page, you’ll see all your active hosting accounts\domains linked to that account.
If you domain is still active, then you’ll see it here and you don’t need to do anything to keep it active
If its suspended, but not deleted you’ll also see it here. but it’ll show suspended. You can then click into the account (Manage button). If its an inactivity suspension, then you’ll see an option to reactivate it.
If your account\domain isn’t listed, then scroll to the bottom and check “deleted accounts” if it’s deleted (usually due to inactivity) then there is no way to recover it.
Yes, myself and admin tried to help. If you had problems with our advice, you could have come back to us. Given it’s been over 20 days since that original post, I assumed you’d resolved it.
Thanks for your answer. I went to Hosting Accounts and scrolled to the bottom. There, a message states that “you have an eliminated account”. I click on it and all account info is there. It states that the cause is “suspended due to inactivity”. So, is it suspended or eliminated (I can see both words)? If has been deleted, are all contents of the website locked in infinifree, or are totally deleted, and no more present on infinityfree? Thanks

I see now that my message was a bit generic there. So let me state it clear:
Your hosting account is deleted. The reason it was deleted was inactivity. But as I said in that other post: if a suspended account is not reactivated on time, it’s deleted.
As for your question of “can I use the account again”, the best advice I can give is to just try adding the domain to your account. If it works, it works, if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.
If it works, then it’s problem solved and case closed.
If it doesn’t work, we may be able to tell you more, but then it would help a lot if you could share the domain name.
