I reactivated my account earlier today, but my website longmontLibrary.epizy.com is still not active. How long will it take for it to be activated?
for me it took 3 hours to activate months ago. it may take upto 12 or 24 hours

I just checked your domain and it doesn’t appear to be assigned to an account right now.
Note that domain names are activated within a few minutes, but can take up to 72 hours to be visible everywhere. This is because of a process called DNS propagation. Nobody can speed that up, so you’ll just have to wait for it.
Removing and re-adding domain names is exactly the opposite of what you should be doing, because doing so means it will take even longer for the settings to settle.

I haven’t added/removed the domain name; I just reactivated the account. I’ll keep checking. Would it be faster to just create a new domain, completely unrelated to the old one?
If you deactivated the account, it means you must have removed the domain name already. Reactivating an account does not automatically restore any domain names you had on them.
So right now, the domain longmontlibrary.epizy.com is unused. If you want to add it to your reactivated account again, you can do so manually through the control panel of the respected account.
You are of course free to choose a new or different domain. In either case, you’re assigning a previously unused domain to an account. So there is not much of a difference, except for that the new domain might not be in your DNS cache yet, so might show up a bit faster.

Could you explain to me how to add the domain back to my account? I looked at the control panel, and then at Addon Domains as well as Sub Domains, but couldn’t see anything to just add my existing domain back to my account. Sorry if I’m being slow, but I don’t want to cause more trouble for myself by creating something that I don’t really need/want. Thanks.
Oh, wait. I get what you’re saying now. I had forgotten that I did delete the domain when I deactivated the account. I created a new subdomain and am in the process of copying all of my files to the new htdocs folder.
