What is the purpose of a 3 limit cap on Accounts,
when you can create UNLIMITED sub-domains ?
theres no need for more than 1 account, is there ?
Also is it possible to DELETE a sub-domain?
iv tried , but it keeps showing an error window,
even on F.t.p.its not possible.
The cap is there to prevent overload on the servers. Eaven though you can create unlimited domains, and even if you have them all serve separate websites (addon domains), they all share the same limits.
For example, if you have 5 domains on one account, and each has 800 files (inodes), than your account will have a total of 4000 inodes. The fair use suspension (like CPU, EP, hits, etc.) will be for all the sites combined in the account.
Yes, you must do it in the control panel. Eaven after you delete the sub-domain, it’s folder will still be in the file structure because it is outside the /htdocs directory and cannot be deleted. Just make sure you clear out its contents and it won’t count agest you. After you delete the files and remove the sub-domain from the control panel, I would just rename it’s folder to something like “unused” or “deleted” just so it gets out of your way.

Thanx for the info
so i presume the reason behind , not be able to delete the sub-domain, is to prevent someone else using that subdomain name themselves ?
so if you create a sub-domain,by accident,
even if you empty it
its still a permanently NAMED, sub-domain forever.
No, once you remove it, it is available for others to take. The folder just does not disappear due to permissions.
