Problems connecting to FTP

Problems connecting to FTP.

I haven’t been able to download folders via File Manager for a while now. I’m trying to connect to the FTP server in FilleZilla and I can’t.

The following log appears:

I’ve already tried:

  • Logged into the account;
  • Logged into the control panel;
  • Changing the password;
  • Accessing via VPN;
  • Changed networks if it was my provider.
  • Connect via ftpupload.net, ftp.epizy.com, 185.27.134.11

Did this have any effect?

The error message suggests that there is some problem establishing a connection between your computer and our FTP server. The file manager is working, which means the FTP server itself is up.

Usually this is fixed by using a VPN, as this issue is usually the result of a network restriction. The IP address shown is correct, so it’s not a DNS level block.

Given that this issue happens before any authentication can take place, so it’s not an account specific issue, and changing passwords and whatnot will not help.

Do you have any additional virus scanner or firewall software on your computer? If so, that may also be blocking you from accessing our FTP server. Maybe you could try temporarily disabling it and see if that helps.
