I’m trying to point an app from render. com to my infinityfree subdomain. I own the domain heliaportfolio. top on a different service but I’m using the hosting on infinityfree.
I have a subdomain (datainsight. heliaportfolio. top) that I’m trying to point to render. com.
The instructions on render. com website says that I should "Add a CNAME record for datainsight pointing to datainsight.onrender. com.
I went to infinityfree to add the CNAME record and removed any other CNAME record that existed.
Am I missing something here? What should my next step be?
I would really appreciate any support.

The most important part is that your domain is not hosted with InfinityFree. Your domain name is hosted with iFastNet. It’s pointing to an iFastNet premium hosting IP and iFastNet premium hosting nameservers. So any DNS settings must be made form iFastNet’s cPanel. And if you need any help with that, you should contact iFastNet for help.

And as a side note, you don’t need to delete ALL other CNAME records when adding a new CNAME record. Only specific subdomains cannot have multiple CNAME records. But you can have many different CNAME records for different subdomains concurrently.
