Please review InfinityFree on TrustPilot (What does this mean?)

I understand Microsoft has something called Copilot. In the airline industry, we say captain and first officer, not copilot. But, now I see “TrustPilot”.

Can anyone break down the inner workings of this terminology, “TrustPilot”?

It’s a review platform, it means that it can guides you towards trust.

It’s there long, long before Microsoft’s Copilot and is not even remotely related.

And I don’t think this is a good place to ask because we don’t run TrustPilot.

I think this is a great “good” place to ask questions and not be censored. If you don’t run “TrustPilot”, then let’s not trust it. Ok?

I honestly don’t know what’s your logic here. TrustPilot is basically a big review platform for a lot of different services.

You are free to not trust it of course but there’s little to none relation with TrustPilot not being run by us.

But more importantly, others are also free to trust the platform. Apparently there’re a lot of people who have faith in this platform.

Besides I’m also not saying you are not allowed to ask this question here. I’m just saying this is not the best place to ask this question.

TrustPilot is a long running review platform.

The reason a lot of people trust it is because it is completely independent from the company’s being reviewed. This means that people can post their true opinion and experience (within the rules on TrustPilot) without fear of censorship.

I find it a really useful tool to see what others think of a company before I do business with them.

The trust in TrustPilot stems from the fact that it’s an independent review platform. Brands being reviewed there do not get to choose which reviews are accepted there and which are not. I don’t know why they called it “pilot”, but TrustPilot was established long before Microsoft (or rather GitHub) Copilot was created.

It not being operated by us is a benefit. That way, you can be sure that we are not hiding negative reviews, posting fake reviews, manipulating scores, and chasing down and harassing people who say bad things about us.

It’s not perfect of course, there are criticisms about fake reviews and score manipulation, but businesses on review platforms of course typically are there to make themselves look good, not necessarily get honest opinions.

Whether you choose to trust TrustPilot is up to you. You are free to not engage with them.

And rest assured that, despite TrustPilot’s insistence that we do so (and many companies following their “recommendations”): we do not send your personal data to TrustPilot so they can harass you to leave a review.

I still don’t understand why I am getting this.

Can someone from TrustPilot chime in and answer what this is all about? So far, I am none the wiser and I will just ignore any infinityfree reference to TrustPilot because I no longer want to trust a pilot that won’t cooperate with me.

I am now the first officer on this plane and the captain of this “TrustPilot” plane is apparently not responding. I will now take over the controls.

I am not from TrustPilot, and as far as I know, TrustPilot do not have a presence on this forum

That is a pinned thread from Admin asking anyone who wants to, to follow the link and leave a review on TrustPilot about InfinityFree so others can get a good idea what the service is like.

I’m afraid I really don’t understand what your confusion or problem is?

If you’ve got any specific questions about TrustPilot itself, they are best directed to TrustPilot not the InfinityFree forum

No, nobody is deliberately pushing that topic to the top to annoy you.

As a clarification, this is a normal topic. It doesn’t have any special attributes — and will not disappear after you have posted something in it or have left a review on TrustPilot.

Unless of course you make it disappear, just like a real plane, it will not do what you think about until you press the correct buttons to make it do so.
