My WordPress website is hosted on your free hosting service. My current PHP version is 8.2.29, but I understand from your help information that free hosting accounts have been upgraded to PHP 8.3.
I need PHP 8.3 because the latest version of Contact Form 7 is not working with my current setup.
Could you please confirm whether PHP 8.3 is enabled on my hosting account? If it is, please advise me how to resolve the version mismatch.
Thank you for your assistance.

Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.
Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.
Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look.
I can’t confirm from here whether PHP 8.3 is enabled on your account, and I couldn’t find anything that says when each account gets upgraded. A person on our staff would need to look at that.
What I did find is that free hosting doesn’t let you pick the PHP version yourself. It’s set at server level, as a staff answer in this topic explains:
Another poster in September 2026 describes InfinityFree upgrading their account to PHP 8.4, so upgrades seem to be applied on our side rather than by users:
I wouldn’t assume the PHP version is why Contact Form 7 is failing, though. What exactly happens, and is there an error message? Please quote it exactly, whether it’s on the form, in WordPress or in the plugin’s update screen.
Also, where did you see 8.2.29? If it was WordPress Site Health or the control panel, say which. And the address in your post is spelled “coastandcountrystays.com”, but your account has a domain spelled “coastalandcountrystays.com”. Which one is the site with the problem?
The website is coastalandcountrystays.com, on the wordpress update plugin page, it says my site is on 8.2.29 and it needs 8.3 to update contact form 7.
