Phpmyadmin TRIGGER command denied

Hello.
I’m new here so I would like to apologies if this was asked earlier, but after searching I didn’t found anything other that the post mentioned below.
I wanted to create a trigger inside phpmyadmin mysql database and it got denied. I searched it up and found an old post/question/discussion about it. It says that trigger is not supported. Mysql triggers
I just wanted to ask if there was any update regarding it if it is supported nowadays. Or should I just do the trigger part with a different method just as the older post advised
