Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.
Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.
Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look.
Which hostname does the browser name in the timeout error, for example “something took too long to respond”? And does it fail the same way in a private window or on another network, like mobile data?
I’m asking because I can’t find anything saying phpmyadmin.infinityfree.com is the address the control panel’s phpMyAdmin button uses. In one older topic, the timeout named a different hostname, phpmyadmin.ifastnet.com:
That topic has no answer, so it might be the same problem as yours, or it might not. If your browser names a different host, the nslookup for phpmyadmin.infinityfree.com may not tell us anything. Running nslookup on the host from the error would show whether that name resolves.
If the right hostname doesn’t resolve for you either, or the check on another network fails the same way, then it’s not something you can fix from your side. A person would need to look at it.
I simplified your message because we are recently trying to streamline support requests to help everyone better.
I don’t know where did you get this, because our phpMyAdmin instance live at php-myadmin.net. If you cannot access that URL then we need to find a way to fix that, rather than imagine non-existent domains.
First of all please try using a VPN. phpMyAdmin is working properly for me so issue is most likely on your end.
