Paypal payments are not possible

Hi
I am trying to test this hosting and hopefully upgrade if it allows to make a buck, but appearently It is not possible to have paypal working on this host.
I have tried payments in the sandbox and they always fail. I am even risking getting my paypal account flaged. because the reason payment fails is paypal not being able to receive confirmation of processing from my website, and thus is marking my account as untrustworthy.
I tested paypal webhooks in the woocommerce settings and they are failing. I suspect this is the problem.
Any suggestions ?

I haven’t setup paypal in years but there used to be a way to take payments with a paypal button that should work, check to see if this is still possible
