Path to the working directory

Is the htdocs folder not the default current working directory? Do I need to set the path to it somehow? I have resource files (M4A audio files), as well as the index file, in the htdocs folder but the webpage does not allow them to be played. No error message is returned. The webpage does not seem to be able to locate them. Do I need to do something to enable the functionality of the media player? Thanks. ps., are InfinityFree and IFastNet owned by the same persons?

It seems to me that everything is working as it should.

Hi Frank,
thank you for responding. I have two questions:
(1) Do you know how InfinityFree makes any money?
(2) Do you know if it will benefit InfinityFree financially if I get one of the Premium plans with IFastNet?
I am very impressed that InfinityFree is truly a free service. At some point in the future I may be able to afford a for-pay hosting service. At that time I want to do so in a way that helps out the very kind people at InfinityFree.
Thanks!

Ads on our own website and kickbacks from other paid services that are offered, like iFastNet’s premium hosting.

If you make sure you click one of the “premium hosting” or “upgrade” buttons in our panel first to go to iFastNet’s website, then yes, because then we’ll get commission based on your purchase.

But it should be noted that iFastNet also maintains the free hosting infrastructure, which is mostly paid for by the revenue from the premium plans. So even without a direct kickback to us you’re helping to fund the free service by purchasing a paid account at iFastNet.
