Not able to get to my site

My domain name takes me to a page that says my website is ready. It suggests various ways to upload files to get started. However, I have already upload my site to htdocs using FileZilla. How do I get to my own Home page?

Can you please check that:

  • You uploaded your files directly to the htdocs directory (and not to a subdirectory)?
  • Your home page has the file name index.html or index.php (all lowercase letters, our servers, like almost all web hosting servers, are case sensitive).

Thanks my home page was called ‘home.html’

it’s not .httaccess
correct is .htaccess
