No tables found in database

I deleted everything below htdocs previously (as stated in my post Feb 20 6:23pm). The files that are there now were created/modified Feb 21 12:53 pm which was not done by me. I haven’t touched anything since Feb 20.

I’ve tried to login in to WP & not working. So again I’m deleting all files under htdocs.

I never got an answer to my query :

Just wondering if any of the folders above HTDOCS , i.e. (.CPANEL, .PKI, .SOFTACULOUS, MAIL) could be interfering with the WP install ?

Thanks,
Rod

Just deleted everything again!

“Could you please leave the database name field empty and install WordPress with all default settings?”

When I leave the Database Name empty, I get the error :
The following errors were found :
The database was not posted.
WordPress Install Without Database Name

When I leave the Database Name & the Table Prefix empty, I get the error :
The following errors were found :
The database was not posted.
WordPress Install Without Database Name & Without Table Prefix

So I do not know how to install WordPress without a database.

Those folders don’t affect your website, but some of them do store some internal data from Softaculous.

Seeing how you don’t have any other sites on the domain, I think it’s safe to delete them and try again (you may need to login again to make it work).

You should just be able to leave all those settings default. Softaculous will then setup a new database for you to install WordPress. That’s the option almost everyone uses.

The point of having Softaculous integrated with the hosting platform is that stuff like setting up databases is done automatically. If you don’t mind that part, you could also go with Softaculous Remote or Installatron Remote to install WordPress. Or just do a manual install.

htdocs were emptied. All database settings were left at default.

Softaculous again stuck at 95%.

I have done this exact scenario before, so this time I put in htdocs into the installation URL.

WordPress Install, Default Database, with Installation Install URL as... sudokusystem.com with directory... htdocs.

The only thing I have not tried is Quick Install.

Thanks,
Rod

So that just installed WP into htdocs/htdocs, until the 95% sticking point.

I am deleting everything from htdocs again & will try quick install.

I will have sudokusystem.com/htdocs empty & try; Quick Install.

Again stuck at 95%. I used Quick Install, All default settings, except Admin name & password.

I cannot a a manual install because of the upload limit on infinity.

What do you mean? There is no limit on using FTP to upload files.

If you are using the online FileManager, it just simply can’t handle large uploads, but connecting to our servers by using a desktop FTP client like FileZilla will work just fine.

Are you sure it is empty? It kind of looks like it is missing. Can you screenshot the directory?
