InfinityFree says that an SSL is automatically added to all free domains, however, my website is still not secure, after more than 12 hours of creation. I have already tried flushing my DNS, forcing https with “.htaccess”, trying it from different browsers, etc. I am convinced that the problem is not on my end but the certificate hasn’t been added. Could you help me out?
This topic was about the SSL certificate for fwh.is not being renewed. That certificate is used to provide SSL to all free subdomains under the fwh.is domain.
The domain bgkios.online is your own domain. For own domains, you need to request and install your own SSL certificate. We provide you with everything you need to do that, but you still need to go through the steps yourself. See this article for details:
In short: your domain will only have SSL if you give it SSL, and if it needs to be renewed, then you need to do that.
Hello, my website is https://hungryminds.great-site.net/ I have the same problem. It says that SSL auto renew, but It doesn’t. I tried to ask for them but it doesn’t work. For this reason, my website doesn’t work properly. I was interested in getting a paid plan (premium plan) thinking “maybe that should work for the ssl issue, and I’ll get more benefits as well, but I’m not sure.” . Can anyone tell me what to do? At least I’d like to have my basic free website working properly with ssl working perfectly on all my pages. without expiration date possibly, or at least the auto renew thing.
The current certificate for great-site.net was issued on the 30th of July and is valid until the 28th of October. So whatever the issue is that you’re having, it’s definitely not a certificate renewal issue.
I’m going to close this topic now. The issue was resolved. The certificate for fwh.is was renewed. If you’re still having issues now, it’s not the same issue.
