New domain serves old files instead of current htdocs files

Website URL

https://abadilaaiu.html-5.me/

Error Message

The live website appears to be serving an old copy of the files. Changes made in /htdocs are not reflected on the live domain. New files such as fresh.php return 404, while the live site still shows an old db.php error.

Other Information

The domain was created recently. The files are in the correct htdocs directory in the File Manager. I renamed db.php to db_old.php and created a new fresh.php file, but the live domain still behaves as if an older copy of the website is being served. Please check the domain mapping or server-side file serving.

There is no server side cache. Whatever cache is on your browser if exists.

Other Information

I have verified the target directory through the InfinityFree File Manager. The current files in that directory are not being reflected when I access the website. I also tested a newly created PHP file and received a 404 response. Could you please investigate whether this domain is correctly connected to its assigned hosting directory?

Make sure that you are uploading to the correct directory if clearing your browser cache doesn’t help. Also posting multiple times isn’t going to help, so please don’t do that again.

Checking the “old content” claim is hard to do because I don’t know what it should be, but the fresh.php file returning a 404 is much easier to check.

And checking your website, the issue is clear: the file is missing from the folder where it should be.

Please be aware that the domain abadilaaiu.html-5.me reads website files from abadilaaiu.html-5.me/htdocs/, NOT from the main htdocs folder. And that abadilaaiu.html-5.me/htdocs/ folder does not have a fresh.php file in it, but the main htdocs folder does.

So the fresh.php file was uploaded to the wrong folder, which is why you don’t see it.

And if I may hazard a guess: there is a very good chance that the “old content” issue is the same problem. If you uploaded the new file to the wrong location, it also won’t update.
