Subject: New account domain stuck with DNS Resolution Error for 24+ hours

Hi,

I’m having trouble accessing my hosting account. Details:

  • Account username: if0_42337650
  • Domain: egyforge.rf.gd
  • Alternate URL also affected: if0_42337650.infinityfreeapp.com

Account status shows “Active” in the client area, and the domain is correctly listed under my account with hosting IP 185.27.134.231.

The issue: both the custom domain and the infinityfreeapp.com subdomain return a “DNS Resolution Error” page (from iFastNet) most of the time. It worked once briefly in Microsoft Edge, but has not loaded again since, on any browser or network.

I have other InfinityFree accounts that work perfectly, so this seems isolated to this specific new account/domain, not a general DNS or network issue on my end.

Could you please check if there’s a propagation or configuration issue on this account? It’s been more than 24 hours since creation.

Thank you!

Like the health check and warning banner in the client area say: it can take up to 72 hours for your website to be accessible everywhere.

The “DNS Resolution Error” also described this phenomenon.

Usually DNS caching issues clear up in less than 24 hours for most people, but it can take longer.

So your website not working after 24 hour is completely normal, and doesn’t indicate that anything is wrong with your account or domain name.

Just check again in a day or two and your website should work.
