Never use Uptime Monitor again

Yes, think twice before using uptime monitor service, because if you set interval too fast, you can be suspended, like me.

If you still want to use Uptime Monitor, set it’s interval slower. You can try 10 minutes, and if you still suspended next day, try 30 minutes or 1 hour.

So I do have an another choice of monitoring, using a php file and a cronjob, I will test with it and let’s see what happens…

and also do have CF for the domain?(the one got suspended)

Almost every monitor does it not just Uptime robot, it is sending requests to your website every (the number you’ve chosen) minutes. if it is doing it on a page which consumes lots of server power in every visit then it is expected.

I use uptime monitors for my repl.it bot just to keep it running.

Forget about it. Back to UptimeRobot where i can set slower interval.

Or maybe setup an endpoint which only does a few basic status checks and doesn’t load a full page while querying dozens of database tables.
