Need to remove subdomain permantly

Hello,

I deleted my website and hosting account, but this subdomain still shows an error page:

auto48softcactus.wuaze.com

Could staff please fully remove or release this subdomain if possible?

On my end I see an error about how the subdomain itself canā€™t be found.

if you fully deleted the account (not just deactivated it) then this is to be expected, and thereā€™s no problem whatsoever.

Hello,

I previously deleted my account and subdomain (auto48softcactus.wuaze.com). However, DNS checkers show that the subdomain is still resolving to IP 185.27.134.24.

My organization requires this URL to be completely removed from the DNS records so it returns a ā€˜Domain Not Foundā€™ error. Can you please manually remove the DNS A-record for this subdomain from your nameservers?

Iā€™m getting a DNS resolution error when visiting the site, so you might be seeing it from your browser cache. Try clearing cache and see if it fixes the problem

That ā€œerror pageā€ is the expected behavior for domains that are not in use. The page you see is a fallback page for domains that are not assigned to any account.

If you owned the domain before, are concerned about people still visiting that domain and want to have some influence on what people see when they visit the domain, the simplest way to fix that is to simply add the domain to one of your hosting accounts. That way, you can choose what to do with it: display a notice that the site is unavailable, maybe promote your new website or just redirect the old domain to your new website.
