MySQL databases created but not showing in the list

Website URL

http://sistemafinancierosuco.rf.gd

Error Message

MySQL databases are created successfully but do not appear in the database list. phpMyAdmin shows ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.

Other Information

I have tried creating two databases:

  • if0_43308510_sistema_financiero
  • if0_43308510_finanzas2026

Both times, InfinityFree showed a success message, but the database list still says: “No databases found in this account.”

My MySQL hostname is sql209.infinityfree.com.

I also cannot access phpMyAdmin. When I click “Connect Now”, it redirects to php-myadmin.net and shows ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.

Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.

  • Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
  • Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
  • AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
  • Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.

The control panel list looks accurate: the account behind this topic has no MySQL databases at the moment, so neither if0_43308510_sistema_financiero nor if0_43308510_finanzas2026 exists. The success message appeared, but the databases didn’t end up on the account.

Can you tell me exactly what you typed in the New Database field? I’m asking because the prefix is added for you, so you only enter the short part. Our guide says to use letters and numbers only, which sistema_financiero wouldn’t meet because of the underscore.

The steps are in this article:

I also need to know whether you changed the hosting account password before the phpMyAdmin redirect started. The article on this redirect error covers that case, where the fix is clearing cookies, using a private window, or resetting the password:

I don’t know yet whether it applies to a new account like yours.

Hello! Thank you for your help.

In the “New database” field, I entered sistema_financiero and then tried finanzas2026.

I did not change my hosting account password before the phpMyAdmin error appeared.

I now understand that I must use only letters and numbers when creating a database name.

I will try to create it again using a valid name.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello again. I have followed your instructions and tried creating the databases using different names:

sistema_financiero

finanzas2026

finanzas

However, although InfinityFree displays a message confirming successful creation, none of them appear in the list of MySQL databases.

I have also refreshed the page several times, but the issue persists.

I have not changed my hosting account password.

Could you please check why the databases are not being registered correctly in my account?

Thank you very much for your help.
