I only have one file, index.php, and I have already renamed htacess. Without success.

index.php has just one line saying hello.

I can’t believe you considering the dimensions of the file. Can you copy and paste the contents of index.php (making sure you also censor any sensitive data)?

Also, did you try to enable Display Errors from the Control Panel, under the “Alter PHP Config” section? Because I still believe the HTTP ERROR 500 is generated by the browser, not by the server.
