I’ve been hosting my website on infinityfree for more than 3 years now and never had any serious problems. But now my website just “disappeared”. It only shows a blank page (no error messages or anything, but also no content). Apparently it is not suspended (according to the deactiviation history) and I also cannot think of any reason for a suspension. Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.
The source of the main page now only shows the following, no matter which browser I use and if Javascript is enabled or not:
This site requires Javascript to work, please enable Javascript in your browser or use a browser with Javascript support
I see the problem. You’re using Cloudflare, and until recently the hosting platform made Cloudflare exempt from the security system that ensures only web browsers can access your website. But now, that’s been changed.
I see where the issue lies, and you’re not alone—this problem seems to crop up due to recent changes in how the hosting platform interacts with Cloudflare. The blank page with the “Javascript required” message is likely caused by a security system blocking Cloudflare’s requests. To resolve this, you can try disabling Cloudflare’s proxy (switch the DNS records in Cloudflare from orange cloud to grey cloud) and see if it restores functionality.
Don’t do that. Turning off the proxy is the same this as disabling Cloudflare for the domain. You’ll lose all the protection that Cloudflare gives you. It may solve the problem, but it is not the way to do it.
