Oh yup thats a point, I did mention it before your last reply, I am using account details for posting in this forum as you should know so my account still exists still in some form, I was hoping you would comment on that fact, so i took it just ability to host was dropped? and having just got “The email has already been taken” perhaps it’s relevant, anyway so what do I do as I would like to use that email
Oops sorry that was dashboard login.
Darn it I knew I would have problems.
Okay perhaps its because ive not given the 72 hours but it said there was no index.html when there is. I got the exact same thing up without needing to contact you lasttime but may have tweaked it on initial problems, its a placement thing afaik not content

Using your file manager, I upload 2x website creater header/footer folders, with php and js within.
also 3 folders index, page2, page3 with said name there and js format within
on outside there is (so not folders) index.html, page2.html, page3.html
THAT’s it. Should that work? I am looking at my originals that I have saved on pc and they have 2x rcd files that I didnt include, is that the problem? I didnt include as they have a 3 days later saving date on pc so seem separate.
Have you made any amendments to the .htacess file?
not that im aware of, i had it ready to go, and was just a case of shifting it online with file manager, i am not computer literrate enough to do things other than moving, opening, closing after initial creation and testing in unpublished state before i moved it first time round for publishing.
note ive managed to get first page up but the links arent there to click between pages so only a page 1 shows
it worked fully last time
well ive added the rcd files so thats not it.
nope the htaccess file is on tree structure before htdocs, i havent touched that. i have deleted back within htdocs though so just my stuff shows
so problem is why arent my links showing that I used to shift between web pages(3), they did before? might it be the 72 hours thing?
i have found something else for the website, a folder in another part of my pc’s root directory(manually saved there) with one seeming html big curly a blue(webpage) icon marked index and seperately “cascading style sheet document” s, perhaps thats it for the other 2 pages
okay, that was it
hmm looks like ive got a few corrections to correct and an update to make. okay, thankyou
Yes, that’s correct.
