Is it allowed to have multiple e-mails, but only use 3 hosting accounts (from all e-mails)? I might host a website with my friend, but I don’t want to give him my e-mail credentials.
Hosting for a friend can be quite sketchy because a free hosting account is intended for yourself only. I would recommend them to just sign up by themselves instead.

The rule is still to have at most three accounts per person. But I can see why you don’t want to bundle them under the same email address for this case. So I think that your proposal is the best option right now: to have a separate account that both of you have access to, separate from your own accounts.
