Moodle 4.4.1 installation error in Softaculous

Website

Subdomain https://ead.ebs-systems.epizy.com

The following errors were found in the Softaculous :

  • Could not write the Configuration File check_utf8.php
  • Could not write the Configuration File privatekey.php
  • Unable to generate kids and privatekeys, hence can not install Moodle 4.4

Other Information

This is my first time installing Moodle

I just tried installing Moodle on a test account and I only get that third error.

As for the first and second errors, please note that an out-of-the-box Moodle installation requires 38,000 inodes, while the maximum for an entire hosting account is 60,000. So if you host Moodle, you’ll basically need a dedicated account for it, because it’s so big you can’t really fit any other sides alongside it.

The account to which that domain is linked has a number of other domains and websites, with not enough inode space being left for a Moodle installation.

As for the first error, I’m unable to find what exactly is causing it. All I know for sure is that it’s an error generated entirely by Softaculous, as the Moodle developers seem to have no idea what it is about.

So you can try to do a manual installation instead.

Can you instruct me to perform a manual installation of Moodle on another Infinity Free account?

I created a new domain in a new account
http://moodle.ebs-systems.42web.io/admin/

Moodle was successfully installed, but it gives me this error:
Fatal error: $CFG->dataroot is not configured properly, directory does not exist or is not accessible! Exiting.
