Just click on “Open”?
Hi liman4,
You can simply paste images here.
Click on open on the first item of the context menu, or simply double click the folder.
If you have issues using the File Manager on web browser, then try using the FTP software FileZilla, you can then access the same content more conveniently using the info displayed in your client area > FTP.
Cheers!
Try closing all tabs, clearing your browser cache and cookies and log in to InfinityFree and then go to File Manager again. See if that helps?
Hi liman4,
Use this if you need a web file manager other then what currently is available on InfinityFree.

I’ll assume something happened with the session that you have with the monsta ftp client, and it’s also solved via using an alternative. However, it is always best secure to use FileZilla. Using a web interface does involve the risk of your FTP account being leaked.
I have no control to the service infrastructure outside of my administration at this time, so I can’t help on this one, unfortunately.
Cheers.
Thats still monsta tho…
But infinityfree’s monsta instance has some limits set iirc
Hi SpookyKipper,
It is never a bad idea to try a trusted 3rd-party tool if the original doesn’t work. Nothing is guaranteed to work regardless of original or 3rd-party.
Having that said though, Monsta is highly customizable that some hosting straight out using that as their default branded file manager.
Cheers!
True, but sticking with the officially offered ones is always better. (You dont know if dreamhost is secretly tracking your inputs)
I actually still dont understand why infinityfree’s monsta can not open the folder, no error messages were provided, and the cause remains unknown.
Hi SpookyKipper,
Although very unlikely, just change the password after if very concerned. The safest way is definitely FileZilla for sure.
Just a wild guess:
try{
// ...
}catch(\Exception $e){
// silence is gold
}
Commonly seen, I like seeing this very much because clients come and pay fees to fix this.
Cheers!
I never having concerns. I use dreamhost file manager to connect to drivehq ftp for my IG follow list. And nothing bad happened.
