Migrating Google Sites to infinityfree free web hosting

Hello all.

I am not well versed with IT, but I had recently built a website using Google Sites website builder.

I also have my own custom domain (kedairuncit.net).

Can anyone assist in sharing on how to migrate this website to infinityfree free hosting?

The domain has been pointed to infinityfree. I had also registered the web hosting account for kedairuncit.net. I “linked” the website to the web hosting, but it is still Error 404 after few days.

Did i miss out on any of the required steps?

Appreciate some assistance with regards to this matter.

Hey there!

You need to upload the contents of the website to infinityfree.

1. Download all the content from the Google hosting volume.

2. Then use an FTP client like FileZilla to upload the downloaded content to the InfinityFree hosting volume (htdocs).

If you’ve used a database on Google, then it will be more complicated than this. But we can walk you through it.
