Hi everyone,

I’m Meenu Hinduja and my hubby Dheeraj Sudan, run a business and I have a question for you guys … How many of you guys use php and mysql for you’re websites? also is there any other good hosting services other than infinity free?

Considering the fact that this forum is for a hosting provider that only offers PHP and MySQL, I’m going to venture and guess and say the vast majority of people here use those languages.

Also, please note that advertising is prohibited here on the forum - you’ll need to ask elsewhere (I would recommend a site with less bias) for alternatives.

I used to use PHP and MySQL but I quickly went towards TS, and less PHP ( only when using db )

While you may prefer Typescript yourself, we don’t support hosting Node.js code. So if you want to host server side stuff, you have to use PHP.

At the same time, you can’t use PHP in the browser. But you can use Typescript for that.

A lot of functionality can be done through the browser, but not everything. At some point, you need to control access to critical data, and you cannot do that from the browser, where code can easily be manipulated.

I use PHP and MySQL, and I use PHP for server side things like logging in/signing up.
And MySQL for the Database to like save data like passwords and usernames.
And infinityfree is the best free hosting service, and also advertising is prohibited here on the forum.
