Hello, i am trying to build a documentation page for my software using Mediawiki and I’ve installed VisualEditor, but it says VirtualRESTService error, something like this, i’ve figured ir out how to fix it but i need a terminal, do i have permission to install Web Console, i just need to execute some git commands, nothing more.
Please do not try to install a web shell, for two reasons:
- Command line access from PHP is disabled, and git is not installed on our servers. So running git commands is not possible, even with a web shell.
- Web shells and other hacking scripts are strictly forbidden on our service. Uploading such scripts will result in your account being suspended immediately and you have to request staff to review your website and reactivate it.
As to why the plugin doesn’t work, I don’t know. I don’t know that much about Mediawiki.
