My imageboard site is back after a hit limit which i am happy to have back i thought i had to give money.
Glad its back.
Sometimes it happens that sites are suspended in error by the automated checks. hopefully it’ll all run smoothly for you moving forward ![]()
Ouch… You had a traffic spike that was waaaaay above the hits limit (the red dotty line)…
Although I can’t say for certain, that looks typical of a ddos to me. But it could just be if you shared the link and a load of bots decided to crawl your site…
how do i cleanse these bots without using datamining softwares
You cannot “cleanse these bots”. Let alone “without using datamining softwares”. No service can fully annihilate DDoS attacks and robots.
It’s like actual wars, the enemy can and will send out troops to attack you. And when they do so, you counter them with your defense or own army.
But you cannot just make the enemy dissappear. When they attack you, you will have some loss. 0 loss is straight up impossible.
Seems like it, yes.
I had expected that image board sites would attract undesirable visitors, but this is not quite what I had imagined.
As for what happens next, it seems that you were told that in the previous ticket:
Your hosting must of been attacked, I have activated it, if your site is attacked again you will need to upgrade to a premium plan.
This is not what you wanted and this is not what we wanted for you.
The amount of traffic your website is generating is just too much for free hosting. It’s undesirable traffic, but even undesirable traffic stresses the servers. And we cannot just face every attack on behalf of our users and let it harm other websites or pay the costs.
yeah
