You would have to find an MD renderer that works with this hosting’s limitations. You may also have to manually convert your MD file to HTML.
You can try parsedown.org to convert MD to HTML.
As far as I know, there is no server component that can automatically compile your Markdown for you. Usually, if you want to publish your Markdown documentation, you typically compile them somewhere before uploading, you don’t have the server compile them on the fly.
If you do want to compile Markdown on the fly, you can do that with PHP code. There is nothing you can “turn on” for that, it’s just code you’ll have to write.
Just to be clear: are you aware of any specific limitations that our hosting has that would impact your ability to just take any Markdown renderer that you want? Because I can’t think of any. Any PHP markdown render should do the job, including Parsedown.
At the time that I was writing the post, I did not know anything about existing MD renderers. Just in case there were any MD renderers that weren’t compatible, it’s good to note.
