I wonder did something changed because when I try to install wordpress manually it’s just not working. First of all I download wordpress through wordpress. Org then I upload all the files in the htdocs with the filezilla , of course the unzipped files . After that I’m getting http error 500 ( I know what this error mean, it mean that the code crashed) but the problem is the wordpress is uploaded freshly (new installation and waiting for configuration). The site is
tests.rf.gd. I know that I can use softaculous, but long time ago this was working
I talked about the new file size limit problem (which might also be what you’re experiencing) and also tested it with a bigger file than what the new file size limit for PHP and HTML files. You can read what I did to test that here:
So I’m afraid that you couldn’t install WordPress manually with that change, at least until they solve it…

There was a bug in the file size detection causing it to delete files that were well below the 1 MB limit. That was a bug, and it should be fixed now.
