architectmyspace.my-style.in (registered with Openprovider)
Unfortunately, I lost access to my InfinityFree account as i was trying to add email alias to it (I no longer have the email or password). Because of this, I cannot log in to manage my hosting or download my site data. One of my domains (my-style.in) has already been placed for deletion, and I want to stop this if possible.
My goals are:
Recover my InfinityFree account so I can access my hosting and site files.
Stop deletion of my-style.in if it is still possible.
Retrieve both domains and all site data so I can link them to a new InfinityFree account if needed.
I can provide proof of domain ownership through my registrar accounts (Namecheap and Openprovider). Please let me know what steps I should take or what information you need from me to verify ownership and recover my account.
You should really fact check the message draft that your AI gives you before posting it here.
Why? Because you claim to have access to registrar accounts for free subdomains of domains that WE own. That’s simply impossible. lovestoblog.com is in our account with Namecheap and my-style.in is in iFastNet’s account at Openprovider.
If you have accounts with those registrars at all (and why would you), you won’t find these domains in there because you do not own these domains. We own them.
And even if you did own the domains you hosted with us (which you don’t), that only proves that you own the domain, not the websites that we host. Should you own the domain names, we could have removed them from the current accounts so you can assign them to a new account, but we still wouldn’t be able to give you access to the data currently hosted.
Your only options to access your account are to either:
Try to remember your password. If you know it, can guess it, or maybe have it stored somewhere, you can login with your email address and the password, and change the email address after having logged in.
Try to regain control over the email address you used for our servers, so you can attempt to do a password reset.
The security of the websites we host is very important to us, so we cannot risk giving an unauthorized third party access to your account. And since we also care about your privacy and don’t collect any more data than necessary, we have no way to authenticate you as the account owner in any other way.
I’m sorry, but I cannot help you with this. To do the things you need, you would need access to the client area. If you don’t have access to the client area, you cannot do that.
And I will not take the risk of making these changes for someone when I’m not absolutely sure that they are the account owner.
Also, I would like to clarify for the record that when you said “my domain has been placed for deletion”, what actually happened is that (presumably - tell me if I’m wrong) you deactivated your account the day before you changed your email address. So it’s not something that happened to you without your knowledge, but something that you specifically requested.
This also makes the situation so much less convincing for me. Why would you deactivate your account if you still need to remove the domain and backup the data?
