Issued SSL certificate not updated / SSL protocol error

Other Information

Good day, I believe that I have got an issue similar to #60277. I have requested and been issued an new GoGetSSL that would expire in August. I then followed the instructions for installing the certificate (How to install an SSL certificate - Docs - InfinityFree Forum). I have checked that the certificate and private key newly uploaded in the SSL/TLS area of the control panel, and they match with the ones shown on the newly issued certificate in the client area of our account.

However, it would appear that the certificate fetched on our site is still the old expired one, even though I have waited for a few hours. I have tested with multiple browsers and private modes and received the same result, and we have checked with SSL checker as well, so it’s unlikely an issue of caching. I have downloaded the .pem from the opened site to check and confirmed that it is still using the old certificate. I also used the certificate decoder and verified that my new certificate is valid till August 7, 2022.

Any help will be deeply appreciated!

I believe that you are aware that changing things may take time to reflect in reality. Would be helpful if you could share your domain name

Good day and thank you. I am aware of the time needed for change, but I am not entirely sure how long it takes and whether I am still doing anything wrong, because it’s the first time I try to do so. I appreciate any help or advice.

The site in question is glc.epizy.com.

A few hours after I updated the key and certificate in cPanel and posted the question, the site now instead renders an ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR on chrome, and both the client area and SSL checker now says there is no valid SSL certificate being active (No SSL certificate was found).

For your information, this is the certificate in question. Both the private key and certificate include the header and the footer.

Umm, well do you have other domains also in your account? Something is off.

Who is your SSL provider? And make sure you have uploaded to the control panel correctly, because I don’t spot any certificates on your domain name.

I have tried both ZeroSSL and GoGetSSL. Now the certificate in my area is from ZeroSSL which I just uploaded again to try.

I have put the private key and the certificate in the SSL/TLS area in cPanel as below, and I clicked Upload Key and Upload Certificate as in the instruction. As they are still there when I return, I assume that they have been inputted correctly.

Thank you again.

No, it is the only domain in my account.

No extra spaces right? Watch @Greenreader9 YouTube video, i don’t have the link.

The video is linked at the bottom of the document the OP says he followed. In any case, i’ll leave it below.

Yes, this is correct. Just now I double-checked the SSL/TLS area and confirmed that there are no extra spaces in front of and after the pasted codes.

This domain is currently hosted on iFastNet’s premium hosting, so anything you do through our panel will not have any effect.

Please request an SSL certificate through iFastNet’s cPanel. Or if you don’t have the premium account anymore and would like to have the domain switched back to free hosting, please ask iFastNet to set this for you.
