After asking chat gpt, chat gpt said it was getting some error like “This site can’t provide a secure connection — rrrps.rf.gd sent an invalid response. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR” after trying to visit the site and google bot was unable to fetch the website.
Other Information
I’m currently hosting my WordPress website on your platform using the subdomain: rrrps.rf.gd. I’ve noticed that my site is showing an ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR when accessed via https, even though I understand that SSL is supposed to be installed and managed automatically for free subdomains.
In addition to that, automated services like ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Googlebot are unable to visit or fetch data from my website, which is negatively affecting the visibility and indexing of my website in browsers and search engines.
Since I’m not able to install or manage SSL manually anymore through the control panel, I’d greatly appreciate it if you could look into this issue or refresh the SSL certificate from your end.
Please let me know if you need any further information. Thanks for providing this free service and for your support in resolving this matter.
As for what is blocking access to your website, there are two reasons that come to mind:
If your account is less than 72 hours old, this is probably just DNS caching, and it will resolve itself automatically.
If it has been more than 72 hours, it might also be a virus scanner or firewall blocking access to our hosting (and breaking the HTTPS connection because of that). Please try disabling your virus scanner if you have one, or see if you can access your website from a different device and/or network.
Please, I’m reaching out again, and honestly, I’m really heartbroken about this issue now. My website rrrps.rf.gd is still showing the “HTTPS not evaluated” error in Google Search Console , and it’s been quite some time.
I’ve already informed you before, and I also contacted Google Support. They clearly said that the problem is not from their end, and that it’s likely due to an issue with the domain or hosting setup. I even tried checking everything from my side — SSL is active, my code is fine, and yet… Google bots can’t visit or fetch my site properly.
I’ve attached a screenshot showing the problem in Google Search Console. And not just Google — the same exact issue is happening in Bing Webmaster Tools too . My site isn’t being indexed, and my visibility is dying. This is really frustrating and demotivating.
I’ve put a lot of effort into my site, and it’s sad to see that it’s not reaching anyone because of something I can’t control.
I seriously request you to please investigate this deeply and help me solve this issue as soon as possible. Please don’t ignore this.
I checked the site using my smartphone, and it looks good. However, we are experiencing issues on the desktop version, specifically with indexing. Sometimes pages are not indexed at all, and this problem is not limited to just me; my team of developers and administrators is also reporting the same issue.
Google can take months to index your website, it is nowhere near instant. I think Google took 2-3 months to index one of my sites. You just have to wait and be patient, there is nothing (that we know of) you can do to speed up the process.
