Yesterday, I added my domain marky.pp.ua in Parked Domain Management (Aliases). Initially, it appeared in the list without any issues.
However, today when I checked, the domain is no longer in the list. When I tried to re-add it, I received the error message: “marky.pp.ua is already assigned to an account and in use on another account.”
I would now like to add the domain to Addon Domains instead.
What steps should I take to resolve this issue?
If you check the list of domains on one account and the domain is not there, and when you try to add it, it says the domain is in use on another account, the most obvious explanation is that the domain is in use on another account.
After all, if the domain is assigned to account A, it won’t show up in the list of domains of account B. And you won’t be able to add it to account B, because it’s already assigned to account A.
In the main menu, you can find the Domain Checker. If you plug your domain name in there, it will tell you a number of things, including which account the domain is assigned to.
I checked it, and it appears the domain name is currently assigned to a hosting account at hostronavt.ru. Since they use the same platform we do, it’s not possible to host the domain with them and with us at the same time.
Do you have an account there? If so, please remove your domain from your account there first so you can add it with us.
