Is wordpress failing? How to fix it?

I created the hosting and installed wordpress. All was fine. I didn´t personalize nor installed templates yet. I could log in and always wordpress was there. However, when I logged in order to continue personalizing the installation, wordpress was not there. I went to softacolous to see if it has been deactivated. Tried to install it again but a message told that it was already installed. Wordpress login admin panel didn´t recognize the account now. Finally, I uninstalled wordpress from my infinityfree hosting, but before trying to build any wordpress site I am here sending this question. What might be the cause of this and its solution, in the case it happens again? Please, explain it me easily. Thanks.

One more thing about this: if while trying to recover password from wordpress(to see if it was due to any problem with password), if I didn´t consent to receive emails when creating hosting, could this affect to wordpress being not able to send? If so, are there ways to fix it, from infinityfree or from wordpress?

I’d be happy to check it for you, but then I do need to know which website you’re referring to. Can you share the URL?

As for the email issues, PHP mail is effectively disabled on our hosting, which is likely the reason that the emails are not working. If you want to send email from your website, you can configure an external SMTP service for that instead (there are a number of WordPress plugins for that).

However, since you have access to the underlying hosting, there are a number of other approaches you could try to reset your WordPress admin password: Reset your password – Documentation – WordPress.org
