Is there a way to renew free SSL certificates without having to keep changing my registrar DNS?

My website is hosted with Namecheap using their DNS.

Is there a way to renew InfinityFree’s free SSL every 3 months without having to change the DNS in Namecheap to ns1.infinityfree.com, ns2.infinityfree.com?

As far as I know, there is no need to.
So my only concern is, what did you do that needed this cumbersome operation?
For your case, setting up respective CNAME record with NameCheap is what you need to do. Simple

Is this correct?

I don’t think so; the record name should be _acme-challenge, while the target (or destination) should be the destination for the record you find on your certificate request page.

Namecheap only has these columns for DNS Records. There is no destination field.

I was saying the generic values as I didn’t manage a domain on Namecheap for quite a long time now, but anyway the host should be _acme-challenge and the value for the record should be the destination for the record you still find on the certificate order page.
