Is there a file size limit for ftp upload?

Hello there,

I made upload for a 37mb file size via FileZilla. When the FileZilla said that the file has been uploaded successfully, then i didn’t find the file in the directory. I thought i might have problem with my internet connection, so i tried many times with the same file but it’s the same issue.

I tried to divide the file into smaller files in size. So i uploaded again a 17mb file, and the same issue is still existed, but when i uploaded a 2.4mb file, i found it’s existed in the directory.

So i want to know if there are restrictions on file size limits when upload or not?

In fact, this issue is restricting the flexibility of using the hosting, so i hope i can found help around this point.

The maximum upload limit per file is 10MB

Well, it’s not an upload limit, it’s a file size limit. Any file greater than 10 MB uploaded or created in any way is automatically deleted.

What do you need a 37 MB zip file for anyways? If it’s a backup you want to upload, just extract it on your computer and drag the entire folder to your account. FileZilla makes that super easy. And if you want to offer the file for download, you could use a specialized file hosting service instead.
