Additional information: I was in a trip and could not to reactive an account in time. Is possible to get an backup or any other way to bring back an website? It was our little community page for events information and this situation is sadly.
I found an backup. I was really scared. 3 days is too short time, especially if here is no warnings before deactivation and only when deactivation is.
Sometimes our visitors reactivated a website. I though website somewhen will dead. This case was the last and I failed too.
Anyway. Infinityfree, thank you for service. I would continue to host an our webpage, but 3 days is nervously for me.
So, also I want to understand next questions. I received 2 mails at same time: about fceu_000000 and about if00000.freecluster.eu
Is that the same account? Is it your service?
Oh, and about reactivation. If you wish make me and other be less nervous. Please, make warning when nobody visits website until 15 days and give 5 days to reactivate.
We can’t break rules because they’ve estabilished that the account will be disabled after 30 days of inactivity and 3 days of grace period; after the grace period the account will be removed permanently without any possibility to recover it, so if you want to recreate it you can, by typing the domain name you were using before and uploading the files on the htdocs folder again.
We actually send warnings weeks before the account is suspended. Of course, if you don’t read those warnings (which may happen if they are marked as spam) or don’t act on them, then the account may be deleted.
The actual suspension and deletion windows are actually longer than what we advertise, but we give some extra time to prevent this from happening.
It’s not fool proof of course (we’ve recently started getting complaints from people whose site was down, even though we warned them over a year ago that it would happen).
Without knowing the exact digits, I can’t check if it’s the same account. But I can tell you that freecluster.eu is part of InfinityFree, and both formats are identifiers of hosting accounts.
I check my e-mail always, a desktop client reports about a new mails each 15 minutes. I have checked right now about other mails excluding “deactivation” topic and I found nothing. What message topic should be?
Also I check always my spam folder and found never before the mails from InfinityFree there.
I received the last mail about deactivation 8 July 2019 at 17:00 by London and used links to reactivate 12 July 2019 at 21:00 by London.
The reactivation link with byet.org as domain reported about 48 hours as reacivation period.
if21170.freecluster.eu and fceu_18069488
Before I used Firefox to reactivate, IE 11 at the last time.
How I can forward a mails? There are different information.
I has checked my mailbox and found only mails “deactivated” and “reactivated” until all time while the website exsited. These mails moved never in “Spam” folder.
I don’t really know when or how these warnings are sent. I do recall having received inactivity warnings in the past, but I can’t find any inactivity warnings right now. All I know is that the hosting platform may send these warnings.
