On the domain page the IP address is showing in red, although nameservers are showing green. The IP is different to the IP listed on the DNS for the domain which has been set by Infinity free and I cannot edit.
Thansk for the replies, much appreciated. I found the problem – I had previously added the domain to a different account, even though it was deleted, when I added it back it kept the original IP address. Have goner back to using it on the original account as I couldn’t figure it out.
Please note that the IP information shown there is for informational purposes only. If it doesn’t show the right IP address there, it doesn’t necessarily mean that there is something wrong with your domain name or the way it’s setup on our end. It could just be a caching issue on our end.
Adding and removing the domain can help if the DNS records on our end are incorrect (which is a very rare issue nowadays). But always make sure to add it to the same account as you’re removing it from. Otherwise, you’re just triggering a new DNS change, which basically resets the timer for DNS cache, meaning it will only take longer for your domain to work everywhere.
