Inquiry About Account Deletion Due to High Traffic

Hello InfinityFree Support,

I heard about the possibility of account deletion for highly visited websites. Can you clarify if high traffic could lead to account deletion? Any guidelines or actions I should take?

If your website receives high traffic, most of the time, you will only receive a 24 hour suspension. If you have content in your website that violates the Terms of Service, your account may get a permanent suspension. Due to legal reasons, InfinityFree cannot delete your hosting account right away, so you are given a certain amount of days to appeal your suspension.

InfinityFree will not delete your hosting account out of the blue.

Suspended accounts are deleted automatically after 30 days. InfinityFree are required by law enforcement to keep suspended accounts for some time. Under no circumstance will accounts be deleted earlier. Please do not submit support requests to get your account deleted, as they will always be denied.

If you get a custom domain then use cloudflare, which can help you cache some data and thus reduce the load on the actual servers, making suspensions less likely to happen:

Make sure you regularly create backups of your website and store them somewhere safe. If your website is ever suspended for high traffic, you don’t need to wait for us to give you your website data.
