My INODES warning came up with a counter of 65878 / 80000 so I deleted the above sandpit domain from the dashboard about 10 days ago however the counter has not changed much.
When I look in the root folder I can see my 2 remaining domains (with their own htdocs folder) and a htdocs folder. Could this htdocs folder be the remains of the sandpit ?
Yes, if it was the first subdomain on your account, it would have been assigned to that default htdocs folder. Deleting a domain from your hosting account doesn’t automatically delete the files that were assigned to it. That’s intentional, so you still have a chance to back up anything you want to keep that was used on that domain.
Thanks @EdwardHamHam , I’m backing the folder up to a local drive just in case.
It’s best practice to always have a backup anyway.
