InfinityFree does not allow .RAR files on their servers?

Hello dear friends!

I wanna ask you about the RAR files on the server? I’m currently using Windows File Explorer based FTP.
I’m uploading my RAR file that has my old images from the past, so
the upload is succeededand it shows the RAR file in the directory.
BUT… as soon as I refresh the folder, the RAR file is removed?
(Though ZIP files work pretty fine but I’m more convenient with RAR files on my side.)

Is this made to be by design or if there is a way to modify this with .htaccess MIME type rules which I highly doubt is possible because FTP doesn’t care about .htaccess rules!

Thanks

Hello Dear Friend
RAR Files are not allowed. This policy is here because RAR does not allow them to scan their files for virus.
I hope you found this useful, just compress them to ZIP if you can.

So RAR files are not supported?! I guess I’ll stick to ZIP anyways
