Error Message

Firefox Can’t Open This Page

To protect your security, report.error-report.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.

Other Information

I know this isn’t about a hosted website but I don’t know where else to post bugs. Every time I stay on any InfinityFree page for more than five seconds the entire page becomes a full screen Firefox embed error. Anyone else having this happen? It works fine on a Chromium browser but Firefox is my main browser and I’m curious on what the issue is.

After some testing, I had successfully replicated the issue.

This was just ad-blocking recovery. You must disable the ad-blocker to continue.

The issue still persists after adding the site to my uBlock Origin trusted sites and reloading the page.

Yes, we are testing a new ad block recovery solution. The main use case is to try to serve ads to people who have ad blockers enabled.

AFAIK this “error-report.com” page is part of the “bad filter alert”, i.e. ad blocking filters that break other code.

Please understand that InfinityFree is a free service and relies on ads to operate. To make sure that we can keep doing this, please consider whitelisting us in your ad blocker.

I have whitelisted InfinityFree from my adblocker and I am still faced with the same issue of only being able to stay on a page for like 5 seconds maximum. I’m not sure of that’s a problem on my end but I’ve tried everything I can think of off the top of my head.

That error-report.com page should only be loaded if a bad filter is detected. That’s probably caused by ad blockers. However, I tested it with uBlock Origin and Firefox myself, and didn’t get any issues like that.

As for the particular error you see, I think it means that something doesn’t allow this error-report.com domain to be loaded in the page. And I’ll have to check it, but I think it’s probably an error on our end, because our client area has checks configured to prevent unauthorized sites from being embedded.
