Images not displaying

icons seems to be a reserved folder name; use another name for your folder and update your links, and your images should work.

I tried creating another folder and adding one image and it did work. I didn’t know icons is reserved for this… it’s weird because today morning and before lunch it did work, but after lunch it did not…

I’m not sure if this is intended behavior, but this is how it currently works - having a look at an old topic, it seems to be related to the directory listing functionality:

Icons and iconsx directorys

although these two directorys are not usually on my (or anyone elses) infinity free website I have noticed that if you have directory listing enabled on a directory you’ll see the file names, times etc but also you’ll see small .gif images that represent the directory or file type and these images show as coming from my site https://lovebug.ml/iconsx/ https://lovebug.ml/icons/ and are possibly some kind of symbolic link ? According to that same topic the ability to override it used to be there, or if not override then add custom icons, maybe @lovebug who had a look into it back then could help us:

its nice that the server tries my local icons directory before falling back to the ifastnet original so if I come across a missing .gif as im uploading stuff i’ll create one there as needed

As an interesting sidenote, https://do.epizy.com/iconsx/ gives a 403 Access Denied message.

I believe the only reserved words are icons, iconsx, and includes (this one is not web accessible). The former two are reserved symbolic links to the Apache icons.
