Error Message

No error message, plugin does not work

I added the plugin pdf thumbnails that is supposed to generate a thumbnail from the first page of an uploaded pdf. This plugin works fine in another site hosted elsewhere, but does not work here. After a while, just by chance I noticed a message in the dashboard:
The [ImageMagick] extension must be loaded to generate PDF thumbnails.
So this must be the problem: the other hosting probably has the extension loaded, whereas infinity does not?
If this is the case, I have to assume that infinity for its own reasons does not want to add the extension (I can’t believe I am the first one to notice this) and I have to find some workaround. Is this correct?

Hi and welcome to the forum! PHP imagick extension is not available on free hosting and cannot be activated. If you want it please consider upgrading to Premium Hosting as it offers more features.
